Yes, we are a basketball school... However, even we realize the power of, Fortnite!
Many parents have been raging about how this game has absolutely consumed their children. We are sure you have thought about limiting your child's exposure to video games... We have an incredible solution! Basketball! Here is the Royal Basketball School guide to reducing Fortnite addiction.

If you look at it from a different perspective, Fortnite and basketball are not that different.
Shooting:
Shooting is something that hooks the kids right from the beginning. Just subtly remind them that you might be a great shooter in a video game, but it's way cooler to be able to ace your 3 points shot in real life, right?
Team:
In Fortnite, you can play in a team of 4 people (virtually), which your kids love. Basketball, on the other hand, allows you to play in a whole team of your friends (in person). Sounds much more exciting to me!
Health:
No points go to Fortnite in this section. Basketball is something that's not only fun, but brings a lot of health benefits. Kids expend their energy by: running, jumping, and exercising. This results in great sleep, better memory, and an improved mood. Video games, on the other hand, can add to anxiety, and cause distress.
Imagination & Creativity:
When our kids play video games, they enter a completely different world where anything is possible. Playing basketball is the same in a sense, because when you enter a gym or a court, it doesn't matter who you are... Hard work and dedication are the only things that matter.
No matter if you are short or always thought you couldn't run quickly -- you can achieve anything you want in basketball, if you put in the effort.
Now, this is a crucial difference between video games and sports! While you can "buy" upgrades in the game, you always have to WORK HARD for one while playing sports! We think that's a very good thing!
