  Your child's first basketball class is coming, and if you still don't know what equipment will be needed...Don't worry, we have made a list of essentials that your child must have for that exciting first basketball experience.  1) Shoes: Wearing any kind of sport shoes will prevent ankle and foot injuries substantially during practice, and in game enivronments. They protect your child's feet, while they run and jump on a hard-court, which the game is played on.   2) Shorts: Moving while practicing and playing will be much easier with athletic-styled shorts. Something like the style pictured below, is ideal.   3 T-Shirt:  Wearing any regular t-shirt will also help with movement.  4.Socks: Socks that are too thin, or made of thin material, will rub at your child’s feet.   Just two until days Christmas! Are you excited to gather with your family and friends for the most beautiful night of the year? Apart from the festive meals and presents, there is another thing we all do on Christmas day - play family games. Today, we present to you, fun basketball family games that you can try this holiday season. 1. KNOCK OUT Knock out requires two basketballs, and two or more players. The players form a line at the free throw line, with the first two receiving basketballs. The first player shoots, and if he or she misses, the second player can "knock out" the first player by making the basket before the first player is able to corral the rebound, and put his or her ball in the basket. If the first player is able to make the shot before the second player, they pass it to the next player in line, who then tries to knock out the second player while the first player returns to the end of the line.
